Direct Editorial Work
We work through direct editorial relationships — with the editors, writers, and outlet teams who make real coverage decisions — rather than through mass-distribution wire blasts or outlet-free PR retainers.
Leadership · The Architects
MXNN Media is a founder-led company, directed by its founders. Decisions are made internally; priorities are set by the team that built the platform; the work is maintained end-to-end without external boards shaping operational direction.
Mann Patel began building companies as a teenager, launching MXNN Creates — a digital studio specializing in immersive, performance-driven web experiences. In its early months, the studio worked with established consumer and media brands, alongside high-visibility creators and public figures. The work earned design-platform recognition from Framer and Figma, establishing Mann as a working voice in the interactive design space and bringing the studio category visibility in startup directories.
As the studio scaled, its work was referenced in business and trade press including Business Insider, Morningstar, Benzinga, Yahoo Finance, MarketWatch, and wire-distributed coverage picked up by the Associated Press. Mann's podcast appearances, including on creator-economy podcasts, have reached large audiences, and his content has built a cross-platform following. Editorial recognition includes features in the London Daily News, ICON, and other business-press outlets covering founder profiles.
It was through this intersection of technology, media, and brand work that Mann first encountered the press industry from the inside — and the structural gaps that made editorial access difficult for serious businesses producing real work. His first move into press came through the New-York Weekly Journal, where he contributed as a writer covering technology, creativity, and emerging digital trends before taking on a technology leadership role overseeing the publication's digital systems and workflow. He also contributed to Brainz Magazine on entrepreneurship and innovation. These roles gave him direct, operational exposure to how editorial processes function at the outlet level — compliance, review cycles, and editorial standards that most people outside publishing never encounter.
That operating knowledge, combined with years of building direct editorial relationships across the global media landscape, became the foundation of MXNN Media. What began as a private practice — placing coverage through personal relationships with outlet teams — evolved into a structured platform offering a full catalog of communications services across major industries. For the full origin story of the company, see our history.
In parallel, Mann founded Sylzo, an AI company developing creative AI tooling. He also serves as CTO of Orphiqe, a health-focused platform centered on clarity, intention, and long-term personal grounding. Recognition for the full body of work across his ventures has come through various business-awards programs.
Tahir Khatri, known as Khat, is a serial entrepreneur and the founder or CEO of multiple companies spanning brand architecture, health technology, media infrastructure, construction, and real estate.
Through Venision, he leads a brand architecture firm that has designed identity systems, built and managed content strategies for creators reaching large cross-platform audiences, and carried out sales architecture work for established companies. Through Orphiqe, he is developing a health platform focused on restructuring how online wellness brands operate. He has founded and led additional ventures across construction and real estate, directly managing teams across concurrent operations.
Within MXNN Media, Tahir designed and built the company's platform architecture, commercial framework, service structure, brand identity, and content system — transforming a relationship-driven network into a structured communications platform operating across an editorial network spanning thousands of outlets.
How the company works
We work through direct editorial relationships — with the editors, writers, and outlet teams who make real coverage decisions — rather than through mass-distribution wire blasts or outlet-free PR retainers.
Our work is scoped to respect the editorial standards of the outlets we pitch to. Category restrictions, disclosure requirements, and review cycles are operating rules — not obstacles to route around.
From narrative development to editorial placement to post-coverage amplification, the work is owned by the team that built it. No handoffs to third parties whose incentives aren't aligned with the client's outcomes.
