Editorial Guidelines

Table of Sections

1. Introduction and Scope

These Editorial Guidelines (the "Guidelines") govern all content, materials, information, data, and submissions (collectively, "Content") submitted to MXNN Media ("MXNN Media", the "Company", "we", "us", or "our") for the purpose of drafting, editing, review, processing, syndication, or distribution.

These Guidelines are legally binding and are incorporated by reference into, and form an integral part of, the Company's Terms and Conditions, Submission Terms, Content Responsibility Policy, Distribution Disclaimer, Privacy Policy, and all other governing documents (collectively, the "Agreements"). In the event of any conflict, the Company shall determine interpretation in its sole and absolute discretion.

By submitting Content to the Company, you acknowledge and agree that you have read, understood, and accepted these Guidelines in full. Compliance with these Guidelines is a strict condition of access to and use of the Services.

The Company reserves the right, at any time and without limitation, to interpret, apply, enforce, modify, or waive any provision of these Guidelines at its sole discretion.

2. Editorial Authority and Final Discretion

The Company retains complete and unrestricted editorial control over all Content submitted through its platform or services.

This authority includes, without limitation, the right to accept, reject, modify, edit, restructure, delay, suspend, remove, or decline to process any Content at any time, for any reason or for no stated reason whatsoever.

No submission shall be deemed accepted unless and until it has been formally processed by the Company. Any communication, preview, draft feedback, acknowledgment, or informal indication shall not constitute acceptance, approval, or guarantee of distribution.

The Company is under no obligation to provide explanations, justifications, or feedback regarding any editorial decision, including rejection or modification of Content.

You expressly acknowledge that all editorial decisions made by the Company are final and non-negotiable.

3. Fundamental Standard: Press Release Content Only

The Company operates strictly within the scope of press release drafting, review, and distribution.

A press release, for the purposes of these Guidelines, is defined as a factual, objective, and time-relevant announcement concerning a real development, event, or occurrence.

Content that does not meet this standard shall be rejected.

Without limitation, the following types of Content do not qualify as press releases and are prohibited:

  • advertisements or promotional materials;
  • blog posts or opinion articles;
  • sales-oriented content;
  • advertorials disguised as news;
  • general informational or educational content lacking a specific announcement;
  • content designed to generate leads, conversions, or direct response actions.

Any attempt to structure or phrase Content in a manner intended to circumvent these restrictions shall be deemed a violation of these Guidelines.

4. Newsworthiness and Substantive Validity

All Content must be based on a legitimate, identifiable, and timely development.

The Company requires that each submission clearly communicate a specific and verifiable event or announcement, such as a product launch, partnership, corporate milestone, leadership change, expansion, funding event, or similar occurrence.

Content that lacks a clear and substantive news element, or that attempts to create artificial news value through vague, exaggerated, or unsupported claims, will be rejected.

The determination of whether Content meets the threshold of newsworthiness shall be made exclusively by the Company.

5. Objectivity, Accuracy, and Prohibition of Promotional Language

All Content must be written in a strictly objective, factual, and neutral tone consistent with professional editorial and journalistic standards.

Content must not contain any language that is promotional, persuasive, exaggerated, or emotionally driven.

The use of superlatives, including but not limited to "best," "leading," "top," "number one," or similar descriptors, is strictly prohibited unless such claims are independently verifiable and properly attributed.

All statements must be accurate, substantiated, and presented in a manner that does not mislead, misrepresent, or overstate.

Opinions, if included, must be clearly attributed within properly formatted quotations and must not be presented as objective fact.

6. Structure and Writing Requirements

All Content must adhere to recognized press release formatting standards.

Content must be written in third-person perspective, except where quotations are used. First-person or second-person language is not permitted outside of attributed statements.

The headline must be clear, factual, and non-promotional, accurately reflecting the content of the announcement.

The opening paragraph must immediately convey the key elements of the announcement, including the identity of the subject, the nature of the development, and its relevance.

The body must expand upon the announcement using a logical, structured format, prioritizing clarity and factual presentation over stylistic or persuasive elements.

Content must be free from grammatical errors, spelling mistakes, formatting issues, and structural inconsistencies.

7. Originality and Authenticity of Content

All Content must be original and created specifically for submission.

The submission of duplicate, recycled, plagiarized, or substantially similar content is strictly prohibited.

Content must not be generated in bulk or produced through automated means without substantial human authorship and editorial oversight.

The Company reserves the right to reject any Content that appears to be templated, mass-produced, or lacking in authenticity.

8. Authority, Representation, and Verification

You represent and warrant that you have full legal authority to submit the Content and to act on behalf of any individual, organization, or entity referenced therein.

The Company reserves the right, at any time, to request verification of such authority, including but not limited to written authorization, official documentation, or other supporting evidence.

Content that includes claims relating to partnerships, endorsements, financial performance, regulatory status, or any material representation may be subject to additional verification requirements.

Failure to provide satisfactory verification upon request shall result in immediate rejection.

9. High-Risk Subject Matter and Pre-Approval Requirement

Certain categories of Content are considered high-risk due to regulatory, legal, or distribution-related considerations.

These include, without limitation, Content relating to cryptocurrency, blockchain technology, financial services, investment opportunities, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, supplements, gambling, and legal or regulatory matters.

Content within these categories must be submitted for pre-approval prior to processing.

The Company reserves the right to impose additional requirements, restrictions, or outright rejection of such Content.

Submission of high-risk Content without prior approval may result in immediate rejection without review.

10. Prohibited Content and Subject Areas

The Company strictly prohibits the submission, processing, or distribution of Content that involves or relates to any of the following:

  • online gambling, betting platforms, or pay-to-play systems;
  • payday loans, short-term lending, or unsecured financial services;
  • stock recommendations, investment advice, or trading signals;
  • forex trading platforms, tools, or leveraged trading accounts;
  • cryptocurrency profit schemes or cloud mining services;
  • make-money-online systems or income guarantees;
  • health supplements, weight loss products, or unverified medical claims;
  • sexual enhancement products or adult content;
  • tobacco, vaping, or nicotine-related products;
  • firearms, weapons, or related components;
  • black-hat SEO tactics or manipulation services;
  • malware, harmful scripts, or exploitative code;
  • defamatory, abusive, or harmful content;
  • political campaigning, lobbying, or ideological persuasion;
  • misleading, deceptive, or unverifiable claims of any kind.

These restrictions are absolute and apply regardless of framing, wording, or context.

11. Corporate References and Ticker Symbol Usage

Any reference to publicly traded companies, including the use of ticker symbols, must be accurate, authorized, and properly supported.

Unauthorized or misleading use of ticker symbols or corporate references will result in rejection.

Content must not imply affiliations, endorsements, or partnerships that do not exist or cannot be verified.

12. Linking Practices and SEO Compliance

Content must not be structured or submitted for the primary purpose of search engine manipulation.

All links must be relevant, limited in number, and naturally integrated within the Content.

The Company reserves the right to modify, remove, or restrict links at its sole discretion.

Content that includes keyword stuffing, unnatural anchor text, or manipulative linking practices will be rejected.

13. Localization and Relevance

Content must maintain a level of relevance suitable for distribution.

Excessive localization, including disproportionate references to specific cities, regions, or service areas, may result in limited distribution or rejection.

The Company retains discretion in determining acceptable levels of geographic specificity.

14. Technical and Formatting Compliance

All Content must be technically compliant and free from errors.

The inclusion of scripts, embedded code, or unsupported formatting elements is strictly prohibited.

Content must be clean, readable, and suitable for distribution across multiple platforms.

The Company may reformat or adjust Content as necessary to meet technical requirements.

15. Review Process and Enforcement

All Content is subject to review by the Company prior to processing.

The Company reserves the right to reject, modify, or remove Content at any stage of the process, including after initial acceptance or distribution.

The Company is not obligated to provide explanations for editorial decisions.

Rejection or modification of Content does not entitle the Client to any refund, credit, or compensation.

16. Third-Party Distribution Dependencies

The Company utilizes third-party networks and distribution platforms.

These entities maintain independent editorial standards and policies.

The Company has no control over the decisions, actions, or requirements of such third parties, including acceptance, rejection, placement, or removal of Content.

17. No Guarantee of Acceptance or Distribution

Submission of Content does not guarantee acceptance, publication, distribution, visibility, or performance.

All outcomes are inherently uncertain and dependent on multiple factors beyond the Company's control.

18. Client Acknowledgement of Risk

By submitting Content, you expressly acknowledge that:

  • editorial acceptance is not guaranteed;
  • distribution outcomes cannot be predicted or ensured;
  • third-party decisions are independent and uncontrollable;
  • rejection may occur at any stage without explanation.

19. Enforcement and Account Actions

Violation of these Guidelines may result in immediate action, including but not limited to rejection of Content, suspension of Services, or permanent restriction of access.

Such actions may be taken without notice.

20. Modifications and Continued Use

The Company reserves the right to modify these Guidelines at any time.

Changes shall become effective immediately upon posting.

Continued use of the Services constitutes acceptance of any updated version.
